Yoga and Meditation

Through yoga and meditation we become present in the body, in the mind and in our surroundings. The body becomes stronger and more balanced. Our thoughts calm down and focused awareness becomes a natural state of mind.

Practising yoga is no guarantee for eternal peace. The experiences and problems of daily life will always affect us, but yoga makes it easier for us to find inner peace and clarity again.

The Ananda Mandala Retreats include both the basic methods contained in yoga and meditation and the more advanced.

Yoga poses - for wellbeing in body and mind. Muscular tensions are eased, the inner organs are stimulated, and the immune system is strengthened.
Nose cleansing - is refreshing and makes breathing easier.
Intestinal cleansing - the whole alimentary canal is cleansed in a mild and natural way through drinking salt water.
Pranayama - breathing exercises which balance the nervous system, and give you access to more energy.
Mudras and bandhas - body positions which directly influence the chakras.
Yoga Nidra - a meditative deep relaxation.
Inner Silence - the fundamental meditation for presence.
Chakra Vajrohan - a meditation where the chakras are experienced through singing.
Ajapa Jap - a meditation which cleanses your energy field and balances the chakras.
